Voorburg feels like a village but sits right next to The Hague. For me it's one of the first places past the city limits, which is why Voorburg is in zone 1. Your Christmas tree is delivered in my own car; I carry it inside and set it up for you. Order before the cut-off and it arrives tomorrow.
In Voorburg especially, I notice that people like having someone local who simply drops by. Not a parcel courier leaving a box on the doorstep, but someone who looks at the tree, turns it a quarter so its best side faces the room, and takes the netting away.
Old Voorburg, Vreugd en Rust and the suburbs
In the old centre around the Herenstraat and the old church you'll find stately houses with spacious rooms. Walk through Vreugd en Rust park or past Hofwijck, Constantijn Huygens' country house, in December and you'll see Christmas trees behind every window. People there often choose a 150–175 cm Nordmann, just tall enough for the kids to place the topper themselves with a step stool. Living in an apartment along the Vliet? Questions about delivery in Voorburg
Why is Voorburg zone 1 and Leidschendam zone 2?
Voorburg borders The Hague directly and fits easily into my regular routes. Leidschendam is a bit further away, so the zone 2 fee applies there.
Can I order if I work during the day?
Yes. Choose an exact time slot in the evening or on Saturday, available from two days after today. That way you're sure to be home when I ring the bell.
Do you take the netting away?
Yes, I cut the netting once the tree is in the stand and take it with me. You're left with nothing but a beautiful tree.
