Katwijk aan Zee is the northernmost point of my delivery area. It's a decent drive from The Hague, along the dunes and through Wassenaar, but I'm happy to make it for you. I deliver your Christmas tree in my own car, carry it inside and set it up straight in the stand. In Katwijk too: order before the cut-off and I'll deliver the next day.
Because Katwijk is at the edge of my route, I prefer to plan Katwijk addresses at set times. If you want to be sure it suits you, choose an exact time slot for a date a little further ahead. That way I can plan my route smartly and you won't have to wait around.
Between the boulevard and the Oude Rijn
Katwijk brings to mind the boulevard, the little white church by the sea and the sluices where the Oude Rijn flows into the North Sea. Around the old village centre there are many characterful fishermen's cottages with narrow hallways and steep stairs. A 125–150 cm Nordmann or a slim artificial tree of approx. 150 cm is often the handiest choice there.
In newer neighbourhoods such as Hoornes and Rijnsoever, many families live in larger homes. A 150–175 cm Nordmann fits nicely, or the largest size if you have a high ceiling. By the sea it can be very windy in December, so I carry your tree inside still wrapped in its netting and only cut it loose once it's in place.
