Nootdorp is a village that has grown a lot in recent years, with new neighbourhoods full of young families next to the old village centre. Exactly the kind of place where a Christmas tree is a must in December. I deliver your tree in my own car, carry it inside and set it up straight in the stand, the next day when you order before the cut-off.
Nootdorp lies right next to Ypenburg and is quick to reach from The Hague, so it fits easily into my routes towards Pijnacker and Delfgauw. For you that means no heavy lifting, no tree on your car roof and no needles in the boot.
Village centre, new builds and the Dobbeplas
The old village centre still has many characterful houses, sometimes with a narrow staircase. In newer neighbourhoods such as Oostambacht the homes are larger and often have a high living room or an open-plan kitchen. A 175–200 cm Nordmann really shines there.
Many Nootdorp residents walk around the Dobbeplas lake at the weekend or cycle through the polder towards Pijnacker. Afterwards it's lovely to warm up next to a lit Christmas tree. With small children or pets, people sometimes deliberately choose an artificial tree: no needles on the floor and usable for years.

Which size fits a new-build home?
Many new-build homes have a ceiling of about 2.60 metres. A 150–175 cm Nordmann is a safe choice; with a void, 175–200 cm works too.
Is an artificial tree practical with kids or pets?
Many parents think so: no prickly needles on the floor. I assemble it securely and fluff out the branches nicely.
