Benoordenhout is one of the greenest neighbourhoods in The Hague, tucked between the Haagse Bos and the Clingendael estate. The stately houses with high ceilings and bay windows are made for a proper Christmas tree. I deliver your Nordmann in my own car, carry it inside and set it up straight in the stand.
Order before the cut-off and I'll deliver the next day. Benoordenhout is part of The Hague and therefore in zone 1. For many residents it's a godsend: no big tree in the car, no fiddling with the stand and no needles in the hallway.
Townhouses, bay windows and the Haagse Bos
In Benoordenhout I see many townhouses and detached villas, often with living rooms over three metres high. The 175–200 cm Nordmann is the most popular choice here. It fills a bay window or the corner of a large room without the ceiling getting in the way.
The shops on the Van Hoytemastraat are extra cosy in December, and for many residents a walk through the Haagse Bos or Clingendael is part of the holidays. Coming home to a lit tree that smells of pine completes it. I always turn the tree so its best side faces the room.

Is the largest tree big enough for a townhouse?
The largest Nordmann is 175–200 cm. In a three-metre-high room, with stand and topper, that makes a lovely, generous tree with room to spare.
Can I order a stand with it?
Yes, as an extra. A sturdy stand with a water reservoir is really recommended for a large tree.
