Duinoord is a compact, friendly neighbourhood between the Zeeheldenkwartier and the Statenkwartier, with the Reinkenstraat as its shopping street and the Sweelinckplein as a green oasis. If you live here you know them: the famous steep Hague staircases up to the upstairs flats. That's exactly what I'm here for. I deliver your Christmas tree in my own car and carry it up.
Order before the cut-off and I'll deliver the next day. Duinoord is part of The Hague and therefore in zone 1. I set your tree straight in the stand and only cut the netting once it's standing, so no needles are left in the stairwell.
Upstairs flats and narrow streets
Most of Duinoord consists of ground-floor and upstairs flats in terraces from around 1900. Ceilings are often high, but the stairs are narrow and steep. That's why a 150–175 cm Nordmann is the best choice here: big enough for a festive tree, small enough to carry up safely. A slim artificial tree is also a great option.
Around the Reinkenstraat and the Zoutmanstraat it's extra busy with Christmas shoppers in December. Lugging a tree home through the crowds is no fun. I'll do it for you, at a time that suits you.

Questions about delivery in Duinoord
Will a big tree fit up a Hague staircase?
A 150–175 cm Nordmann almost always fits. The largest size is possible too, but with a winding staircase one size smaller is safer for the branches.
Will you leave needles in the stairwell?
I keep the tree in its netting until it's inside. If a few needles fall anyway, I'll sweep them up.
Can I order if I live on the second floor?
Yes, that's very common in Duinoord. Mention your floor in the notes so I know what to expect.
Is Duinoord in zone 1?
Yes, Duinoord is part of The Hague and in zone 1, with the lowest delivery fee.
